Burn

Burn is designed with your privacy in mind. We do not collect, store, or transmit any personal data.

All data — including your tasks, screen time balance, flame preferences, and app blocking settings — is stored locally on your device within an app group container. This shared container allows the main app, the device activity extension, and widgets to stay in sync. Nothing is sent to external servers.

We do not use any analytics, tracking, or advertising frameworks. There are no third-party SDKs in the app.

Burn uses Apple's FamilyControls, ManagedSettings, and DeviceActivity APIs to monitor usage and block apps on your device. All data is managed locally through Apple's frameworks. We never have access to your app usage data or Screen Time information.

Burn offers home screen and lock screen widgets that display your flame status and tasks. These widgets read data from the same local app group container used by the main app. No data leaves your device.

If you enable notifications, they are scheduled locally on your device using iOS notification services. No notification data is sent externally.

After using Burn for a while, iOS may show a system dialog asking you to rate the app. This is Apple's standard StoreKit review prompt. No data is collected or transmitted through this dialog.

Burn offers an optional one-time in-app purchase ("Burn+") to unlock additional features such as extra flame colors, widgets, and low fuel warning notifications. All purchase transactions are processed entirely by Apple through StoreKit. Burn does not collect, store, or transmit any payment information, billing details, or transaction data. Your purchase history and entitlement status are managed by Apple and verified on-device only.

We do not knowingly collect any information from children. The app does not require any personal information to function.
