Agreement

By downloading, installing, or using FlightScout, you agree to these Terms of Service. If you don't agree, please don't use the app.

Description of Service

FlightScout monitors flight prices and alerts you when significant price drops are detected on your routes. The app provides links to Google Flights for booking but doesn't sell, book, or process flight reservations directly. A home screen widget is also available as part of your subscription.

Subscription & Free Trial

FlightScout requires a paid subscription to use. There is no permanent free tier. New users receive a 1-month free trial when they first subscribe. The trial is an Apple introductory offer and is available once per Apple ID.

Subscription options and prices are shown in the App Store before purchase and may vary by region. Subscriptions are billed through your Apple ID and automatically renew unless cancelled at least 24 hours before the end of the current billing period. You can manage or cancel your subscription in Settings > Apple ID > Subscriptions on your device.

To avoid being charged after the free trial, you must cancel at least 24 hours before the trial ends. Cancelling on the final day is not sufficient -- Apple requires cancellation at least 24 hours in advance. If you don't cancel in time, the subscription renews at the standard rate.

Flight Data & Accuracy

Flight prices, availability, and deal information are provided for informational purposes only. Prices are sourced from third-party providers and may change at any time. FlightScout doesn't guarantee the accuracy, completeness, or availability of any flight price or deal shown in the app.

Acceptable Use

You agree not to misuse the service, including but not limited to: reverse-engineering the app, interfering with server infrastructure, using automated tools to access the service, or reselling data obtained through the app.

Account

An anonymous account is created automatically when you first use FlightScout. You may optionally link it to your Apple ID via Sign in with Apple. You're responsible for maintaining access to the device associated with your account. We're not responsible for any loss of data resulting from device loss or app deletion.

You can delete your account at any time from the Settings screen inside the app. Deletion removes all stored data associated with your account but doesn't automatically cancel your App Store subscription -- you must cancel that separately in your device's subscription settings.

Intellectual Property

All content, design, and code within FlightScout are the property of the developer. You may not copy, modify, distribute, or create derivative works based on the app without prior written consent.

Limitation of Liability

FlightScout is provided "as is" without warranties of any kind. To the maximum extent permitted by law, the developer shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from your use of the app, including but not limited to missed deals, incorrect pricing, or inability to book flights.

Termination

We reserve the right to suspend or terminate access to the service at any time for violations of these terms or for any other reason at our discretion.

Governing Law

These terms are governed by the laws of the State of California, United States, without regard to its conflict of law provisions. Any disputes arising from these terms or your use of FlightScout will be resolved in the courts of California, and you consent to personal jurisdiction in those courts.

Changes to These Terms

We may update these terms from time to time. Continued use of FlightScout after changes constitutes acceptance of the updated terms. Changes will be posted on this page with an updated date.
